STANDARD DRAWER UNITS

COMEL's office drawer units are made from painted sheet metal and feature clean lines, functional design, and rounded corners in compliance with European safety standards. There are two main ranges, "Delta" and "Gamma", which differ in styling but intelligently use the same components to guarantee modularity and versatility, so that both ranges can appear side by side in the same room.

If they wish, customers can remove the front panels and tops and replace them with alternative materials (like wood, plastic etc.) to create custom design solutions. The drawers themselves are made to hold all common office accessories like dividers, anti-tip mechanisms, separators, and folder hangers, etc.. The "Gamma PT" drawer units differ from other versions in having a plastic pen drawer mounted on ball bearing runners fitted as standard. All other models can be equipped with a removable plastic pen tray in one of the drawers as an optional accessory. All COMEL drawer units are designed to be fitted with a choice of runner types for each individual drawer. The standard version features roller runners for standard drawers and full-travel, telescopic, ball bearing runners for classifier drawers. Depending on the model, units may be fitted either with impact resistant castoring plastic wheels or adjustable plastic feet.

Drawer units are lockable, with simultaneous locking of all drawers with a single, coded, folding-away, plastic-coated key. The cylinder type lock is replaceable. Drawer units are finished in epoxy polyester powder paint, and come in a choice of colours including aluminium and anthracite. Other RAL colours can also be provided for lots of sufficient size.
